About Suzanne George

Who I AmSuzy three

My name is Suzanne George and I live in Botley, Oxford, with my husband and children. My intention is to provide reflexology to my clients that is both professional, and caring.

I qualified in 2013, under the supervision of Louise Keet (‘Britain’s leading reflexology practitioner’2.) at the London School of Reflexology1. The London School of Reflexology is the UK’s largest, longest established and most recommended reflexology school in the United Kingdom.

My interest in reflexology had led me to undertake further training in the field of fertility reflexology. This is in response to the growing number of couples facing difficulty with conception. I completed my training in a course run by Barbara Scott, who is an experienced reflexologist and is considered to be one of Europe’s leading fertility practitioners. I am now a fully qualified member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists.

My interest in reflexology originates from a strong desire to help people to help themselves, and the conviction that reflexology, together with considered lifestyle choices, can help to achieve this. For many years I have held the belief that lifestyle, and diet in particular, is key to good health. In my 20s, I embarked on a degree in Nutritional Medicine, which although I never completed, led me to spend over four years gaining extensive knowledge in this area. After having children, I wanted to return to the field of complementary medicine, as I strongly believe that complementary medicine gets to the root cause of ill-health in a way that conventional medicine does not. On my return to studying I needed to bear in mind my family commitment and needed to find a therapy that could be learnt in less time than a degree in nutrition. I chose reflexology for the reason that I could help people to feel better quite quickly, and because it is a treatment that works to rectify imbalances but also is so lovely to receive! As a reflexologist I must receive regular reflexology myself, in order to stay in touch with how clients might experience a treatment, and I can honestly say that it would be my first choice when needing to de-stress, to feel more in balance and grounded, and to enjoy an hour of me-time!
